Hi

Well, I for one, as much as I enjoyed the music would've preferred more skating profiles and interviews as opposed to the music, Though I don't see why they couldn't include Tammy Hanson's performance of Hit and Run. She was awesome.. So, if they had to skip the music Save for maybe Tammy's songs, maybe we could get any interviews that ended uup on the cuttting room floor, deleted scenes and any lost games. I was also hinking about how cool it would be to have games on the DVD set like I've seen in other DVD sets. Speaking of which, it would be so cool to have a 20th anniversary Rollergames video game for all platforms like XBox, PlayStation 2 , etc with such cookl features as "Create a skater" so you can put yourself in the action. How cool would that be?
What say you guys?

@steven616: One thing that COULD be holding back production of a boxed set might be music rights.

It depends on how the contracts were written. Getting the animated film "Heavy Metal" released onto video required some major negotiating, I've heard. The upside is that old TV shows were already starting to be released on VHS in 1989, so it's possible there were terms regarding the bands' appearances on the show. Hard to say though.

Something like a lengthy legal battle for ownership of one band's music (there's lots of those) and name could provide a speed bump as well.

Whoever puts it out might just skip the music segments entirely.

Way back in the early 1990's possibly 1992 i was watching The third T-Birds/Bad Attitude rematch on RollerGames also Mr.Mean Harold Jackson intefered in the T-Birds/Bad Attitude rematch not only helping Bad Attitude win the rematch but costing The T-birds their 3rd possible victory over Bad Attitude.also i was watching the Promo featuring the Rock and RollerGames tv show and i saw Stars n Stripes & The Cailfornia Kid skating but also survivng The Wall of Death , i would have seen The T-Birds/Rockers game on tv way back in 1989 but however i still agree with you Amy if it weren,t for the Show being cancelled after one season RollerGames would have remained on The airwaves for 3 more seasons.also if The Rollergames DvD set ever comes out The Dvd set will possibly inculde all 13 eposiodes inculding The 3rd T-Birds & Bad Attitude rematch which also inculdes Expose singing "What you don,t known" as well.i,m also still looking forward to The Return Of RollerGames very soon.

I am so happy to hear that RollerGames could be making a comeback! I remember watching the 1989 show which was so much fun! It truly wasn't your momma and daddy's Roller Derby. Neither was "WSL RollerJam"! This new RollerGames should be so much fun to watch. Hey, David, ever thought about trying to get RollerGames onto My Network TV?

This has a lot of footage from the early 90s. Its a great teaser tho. I would rather see the games go back to its roots. I'll watch it just the same.
