NASCAR is almost here again!!

Well, Sunday, February 15 will be the first race of the new season from Daytona, Florida and then the following week, Feb. 22, I'll be in Fontana, Ca for the 2nd race of the season at Auto Club Speedway (Formerly California Speedway). I hope to God it doesn't rain that day. It rained last year, and the whole day sucked lemons....except for the pre-race concert by ZZ Top.

Also, next month, on March 22, 2009, Toyota Speedway at Irwindale is starting their 11th season. March 22 is opening night and there is a lot of great racing action that will go on that night. Here's the run down of the divisions racing:

AC Delco Superlate Models (Twin Races)
King Taco Super Trucks
Justice Brothers Mini Stocks (My Division)
Legends Cars
Trailer Races (This is a "See it to believe it" race. Lots of fun to watch)

There will be a lot of great food there, booze, provided you like to drink, LOL. There will be things for the kids like a jumphouse as well as MiMi the clown who will paint your face for free....she'll even pain the faces of the adults too.

Tickets are on sale right now at www.toyotaspeedwayatirwindale.com and you can purchase them there online and print them up on your own printer. Tix are just $15 for adults, seniors $12, kids 6-12 are $5 and kids 5 and under are free with paid adult admission. If you have AAA (Triple A), you can get, I believe $5 off your ticket price at the window, and you can get discounts at the souvenir stands as well with your AAA Card.

Come on down to Toyota Speedway at Irwindale on opening night, March 22 and see the best short track racing anywhere. You can even watch and cheer me on in my race car (Mini Stock #13, Ford Mustang II). You'll have a great time!
