I'm a "no go" for Kezar next week.

Well, as the subject line says, I'm going to be a "no Go" for Kezar next week on the 24th. This time, Money isn't the issue. I got a new job promotion at work, and we still haven't filled the spot I vacated yet. I took over the Lead Linen Supervisor position on December 28, 2008 and we haven't filled the spot yet. If we were to have had it filled, and have the person trained well enough before the 24th, I was going to get up there come hell or high water. I even considered taking a train up there after I got off work, but by the time I would have got up there, it would be midway through the games.

If we ever get my old position filled, I'm going to try and get to Kezar to see the games.....provided that it doesn't conflict with my racing schedule, as the new season for me starts on March 21st and my division races that night. I might do a practice date in February, prior to the new season, and I'm hoping to do at least one race at Willow Springs Raceway, out there by Edwards AFB.

So, this is where I stand with any Roller Derby activity at this point in time. I do plan on going to the new Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, CA on the 31st for the benefit game for the fire victims. :-)
