I wish I'd seen your team's second bout. I had a bout to work that night in my hometown, I was kinda pissed that it got scheduled during a major event. But I just work here...
I've never gotten down to see the AZ Derby Dames play. I used to head to Tucson to see TRD play a few times, but never went to any bouts in Phoenix. Lotsa different flavors of derby in that berg.
I hope TXRD at some point makes some DVDs available.

I just wanted to update you on things. It looks like it will probably be a "no go" for me going to Kezar. We still haven't hired anyone for my spot, and it would take a while to get the person properly trained to do the job the right way. I was holding out hope that I would make it this time, but it looks like I'll have to wait for the next event at Kezar.
Anyway, I just wanted to update you on this. Talk to you later, and I hope you and Trish kick some ass out there. :-)

Thanks! I'm still going to make the plans for the trek to kezar....I just hope I can get the time off for it. I just got the promotion I was up for at work, and we still haven't hired anyone to fill my spot yet. If we don't fill my spot before the 24th, I'll probably be stuck here, as no one has really been trained to do my areas that I do.....or else no one is that willing to come in at 4:30AM to do it. LOL
I'll definitely keep you posted, as I still want to see you and Trash kick some ass out there. I'd also like to see Denise Loden and the "Ack Attack" Sean Atkinson skate out there as well. OH DADDY!! Oooops....My apologies to Sean for using his catchphrase. LOL
Anyhoo, I'll keep you posted on whether I'll be heading for the Frisco Bay or not on January 24th. :-)

I'm Soooooooooo hoping to make it to Kezar this time to see you all skate and kick ass!! I think Denise Loden wants me to be there, from what she mentioned to me, so she can get some pics from me as well. So she can show her kids what she did, since she said she didn't have many pics from when she did Roller Jam. I'll try to make it there one way or another, and this time, I'll make sure I have money in the bank to get there....and now that the gas prices are lower, that's less of a headache to worry about. Only thing I got to do, is make sure I get my shift covered at work, as I am getting a promotion at work. I am no longer going to be just a linen clerk, I am now going to become the Lead Linen Supervisor. I get more moolah as a result of this, and it will become official this weekend.
I'll definitely let you or Trish know whether I'll be there or not....but I'm hoping for a big YES that I'll be there. :-)
