- I have been a Roller Derby/Games fan since 1968 I followed the T-Birds through the 70's & 80' s also The Bay Bombers, Pioneers and all the other teams in the "Seltzer" Derby .
I currentl;y set up a rather large display featuring about 40 years of Roller Derby Memorabilia for our local RollerGirls Leagues I even have a copy of The RollerGames magazine You use as your background. I love your website and all the great videos one can view it brings back alot of memories and it's good to see "MY FAVORITE SPORT IS MAKING A COMEBACK" and in many different forms!

Grand Poobah said… - With any luck both Twin Cities leagues will qualify for the North Central regional tournament MNRG is hosting this fall. I'd suspect that'd be a big boost for attendance. If it isn't snowing by then they could probably draw from Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit as well. With Windy City's Kola Loca retiring, someone could even give 'em a run for their money (probably Detroit).

- NSRG did pretty well for themselves at a tournament last week. They even managed to beat MNRG. One of their founders skates in our league nowadays.

I try to put all I've learned from all the GREAT many stars that have come before me......that have taken the time to show something/anything and put it to good entertaining use one the track. I LOVE SKATING Roller Derby games....still being able to skate on the T-Birds has been a blessing because NOW I get to try and teach what was passed down to me. We have a GREAT bunch of skaters in our league that want to learn....and for me, entertaining the fans with a GREAT skated games is what it is all about!!

- Thank you for your comment. I went to games as a child and had no idea how amazing my parents were. Not just my parents, all of the skaters. I watch it now and realize how amazing the sport is and wish it was at that level again. I will check out your page, I have a few on my myspace. I have more DVD's at home. My brother is always collecting them for us. It's nice to show my kids, they ask me, Is that really GRANDMA? I'm like yes, and if you don't behave, she will knock you out.
