Let's Work Together To Bring Banked-Track Roller Sports Back To TV!


Hey Roller Fans...It has been some 19 years since ROLLERGAMES was on the air with fresh, new episodes. ROLLERJAM was another great series that lasted several years--but it, too, faded many years ago. Don't you think that it's time to bring back banked-track Roller Sports? I'm working hard to do so, and that's why I've created this website! (Thanks to the RGI for seeing the benefit of my using its domain for this fansite. I appreciate it!).

I also think that it is time for all teams and leagues to come TOGETHER to create the best possible TV program. That is another one of my goals. Keep in mind that I am not associated with any one team or organization. I don't own or operate the TBirds, the Bombers, or any other legacy team. I'm just a man on a mission to bring derby back to TV! So, I can have a clear head as to how to put all of the right elements together to present the very best of Roller Sports to the nation!

The thing I remember most about RollerGames/RollerDerby is:
Those live gators! This was probably the most-memorable low point in skating history! Who came up with that idea in the first place??? He should be thrown to those nasty gators!!!!

I have a dream about getting this great sport back on national TV! I plan to work with many teams, players, and leagues. If your team or league is interested in participating, please contact me IMMEDIATELY! We need to put the best of the best on the track. We've got one shot at making this work--and need to mount the best competition possible.

All players should submit their materials if you want to be considered for this new TV effort. I am not associated with any existing team or league. I also do not own any legacy team or legacy league; therefore, it is my desire to work with ALL teams and leagues, past and present. However, to do so, I must see your material. But, a TV show is not legit because that is boring for viewing audiences. Girls CANNOT skate like men, with very few exceptions. Girls are made to stay in the kitchen and push out kids. lol

it does work out well with us. But our guys aren't asshole and play fair and don't fight. We also go after the other guys on the track first. That said, I love playing in the old school alternating period/gender games.

Oddly, the film itself probably didn't do much to increase awareness of derby. But the various media tie-ins to local leagues, talk shows and interviews may have reached a far larger audience than actually saw the film.
