About Me:

I'm a 31 year old magician, musician, poet, writer and game designer. I have never been involved professionally in roller derby but have always savored the spectacle, especially the 1990 Rock N Rollergames. I am also 'that guy who made the Rollergames game'.

The thing I remember most about RollerGames/RollerDerby is:

Mr. Mean going over the wall of death at the all-star game and the giddy feeling I still get when I hear the opening theme. Also the outfits, the hair, the fights, the arguing and somebody who doesn't seem to get any respect around here...Wally George! I also remember the great joy that I got each time the show actually made the air because where I lived it did not come on until after 1am and 75% of the time it was pre-empted by something ignorant (like Hot Tub infomercials). There was a 2 month span where they only showed 2 games (same game twice!!!). My local network was nooo good. It just made the show seem all the more special when it was on!

My Favorite Music:

I listen to everything as a sort of 'job requirement' but I will always cherish anything from the 80's, particularly glam rock. Experimental music is great. Smashing Pumpkins, Tool and Pink Floyd are major influences. I also love The Benny Hill Theme Song more than anyone should.

My Favorite TV Shows:

Lost, Mythbusters, any wrestling, hockey, Tales From The Darkside (oldie but goodie!). I am also a sucker for home-video programs that show people getting hurt. Obviously Rollergames although my collection has dwindled two a mere 2 games. My fav movie was Nightmare Before Christmas for many years until it suddenly became every 14 year old kid's favorite movie so I had to change it on principle. Now my favorite movie rotates regularly and often includes The Kentucky Fried Movie, Transformers (the old animated one), Goonies, Hellboy, Weird Science, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and many, many bad horror films.

Something nobody knows about me:

18 years later, as a full grown adult, I still want to marry Electric Randi when I grow up! Haha!
