About Me:

Roller skated all my life. Always saved my paper route money for new skates. Was a regular at Whitby Wheelies. Was the fastest backwards skater throughout elementary school. Had my 27th birthday at the rink which ended up closing right after : ( Received an amazing e-mail October 2006 that Roller Derby existed and had a league in Toronto. Joined the Death Track Dolls. Won best pivot 2007. Early 2008 I tried out and made it on to the travel team which consisted of ToRD's finest and became part of CN Power. Half way into the 2008 season during a public game on July 5th, I had the lovely experience of breaking my fibula and tearing every ligament from my knee down to my toes. Quit my team and joined forces with the lovely Chicks Ahoy. Currently have been out of crutches for about a month (it's November). Still no feeling on the top of my foot. Dealing with lots of physio and looking forward to a long future with roller derby and being a part of a team with the same amount of gumption and determination as myself and taking on as many titles we can together. First off... Beast of the East!

The thing I remember most about RollerGames/RollerDerby is:

How cute it is that I have a tape from the 80's where I'm skating in my basement talking of all the ways I love it and wishing I could skate forever. My dream came true!

My Favorite Music:

Top 3: WEEN, Butthole Surfers, Pixies. I was a hard core raver and that has not died inside so I still love my jungle, psy trance, and have moved along with the times and love the sounds of the nu-rave electro. I also love fast metal. I'm a hyper one, my music will reflect that.

My Favorite TV Shows:

Not really into tv much anymore but I do love Intervention, Kitchen Nightmares, Cheaters, BT, Breaking Bad, Confessions of a Call Girl and wheel of Fortune.

Something nobody knows about me:

I only have one good ear to hear with. One IS better than none!!!!! Duck your head in water that's about what I hear on a regular basis.
