1st: London Rollergirls London Brawling
2nd: Birmingham Blitz Derby Dames Brummy
3rd: Glasgow Rollergirls Irn Bruisers
4th: Auld Reekie Roller Girls (Edinburgh, Scotland)

As there's no ranking system yet over there, they were split into four groups (check the picture above). Second place in each group (winning one and losing one bout) were Berlin Bombshells, Royal Rebel Rollers (only mixed team to win), London Rock'n'Rollers, and Stuttgart Valley Rollergirlz (Germany).

Yes, that was me (although there was another "lodge brother" at the Black & Blue Ball). I'm afraid I'll have to miss this year's RollerCon. I may try to make at least one tournament this year. Remains to be seen.

With Roller Derby taking over the world, an international party bout would be so much fun to me. I'm still searching for "bout friends" who might want to travel along.

Cool, sorry, and thanks for correcting me! See how much new stuff I can learn by making unfounded suppositions about a league that's across the world? The fact that you had a skater from ACDG, (at least) one from Australia and that you seem to always win by massive margins was all I knew about your league thus far.

Keep up the good work! I'm sure at some point you'll have an opportunity to come "over here" and do some driving on the corr right side of the road. *~[;-{p>

If you do head to Canada while you're across the pond, I wouldn't pass by their London, Ontario's "Forest City Derby Girls." Could be an interesting way to get some press coverage, as the "hopefully they'll actually do it someday" Birmingham vs Birmingham bout.

I just wanted to make a quick comment on how you say LRG are on the top because we have a US derby players on the team doing the coaching. We have ONE ex-US skater who skated with the then start-up ACDG about 2 years ago (and we're not the only league who does). We do however have alot of ex-pats from other countries, as well as alot of non-Londoners, which means alot of us have no family or friends network other than derby so can commit to it completely and totally. Our Coaching committee is made up of 10 dedicated sportsminded people (one US skater, 3 Aussies and 6 UK skaters) who are constantly striving for the best within themselves and for the league. This is not to say that other UK leagues don't do the same, but the idea that we are on top because we have US players coaching us is a bit insulting to all the hard work we have put in, training 4 times a week and having very strict, disciplined training sessions .
We have been really lucky with all the US visitors to London but in my experience, it's not the advice you are given, it's what you do with it and how you integrate that into your training that counts :)
P.S: LRG would LOVE to do a US tour!!! BRING IT ON!!!!!

I'm sure you will. I also should have considered that being the OTHER home team, you're likely to have a roster advantage as well. The crowd will no doubt be on your side.

I don't think LRG have ever played Stuttgart at all actually, maybe they will have their chance come the tourny!
I hope we can prove u wrong! I do think that the LRG are a bit more experienced then anyone else but those other top spots are anybodys game. But we'll try to win it all of course haha ;)

Ah, I must've missed that, or gotten the two local leagues mixed up in my head. I'll be delighted when you prove me wrong!

And I don't know where I got London Roller Dolls from. It's London Rollergirls I was talking about. I guess I should've waited till my second cup to type that.
